European Barge Cruise

I know you’ve heard of traditional European cruises, in which you get in a giant boat packed with thousands of other guests, giving you very little time or space to do or see what you want to. Although cruises like those are nice for general sightseeing trips, you won’t get the unique or intimate journey that you would find by taking a European barge cruise. What is a barge cruise you ask? Well, let me help you out!

A European barge cruise is one in which you travel through much more isolated areas of Europe, such as through the canals and smaller bodies of water where the big ships cannot go, in order to get closer to the heart of the action. Not only are the ships smaller, but they also carry fewer than 100 people, which means that you can enjoy your cruise in peace.

A barge cruise can take you through France, England, Ireland, Scotland, Italy, and several other beautiful European countries. Better still, is the fact that you can cruise in luxury without fighting for pictures or over scenic areas. More often than not, a European barge cruise is much more luxurious than a big boat cruise, providing a more exquisite adventure. The food is great, the people are great, and the sights are fantastic.
